Divorce: adios amor

When I went through my first divorce, I made the huge mistake of paying a local attorney. My ex-wife and I were both on the same page (everything was amicable). There wasn't much for the lawyer to do. The ordeal cost us just under $10,000. At the time, we thought this was our only option so we paid it and moved on. What else could be done?

Fast forward to my second divorce. A friend of mine mentioned the success he had with CompleteCase, so I hopped on my computer and I saw there were many services online that would generate court ready divorce papers. I was absolutely floored when I saw these online divorce services only cost a couple hundred dollars. Having already spent thousands on an attorney the first time around, I wasn't making that mistake again.

Problem was, while there were tons of divorce services online, I could barely find any independent information about these services anywhere on the internet. There just wasn't any resources for me to browse and learn more about the various companies offering divorce papers and which were most accurate.

It was for that reason that I decided to build this website in 2017. It was a way for me to share all of my research. It's my hope that there are people out there who will benefit from a one-stop-shop resource covering the best online divorce reviews and similar divorce related topics.

I try to approach each one of my divorce reviews without any bias. Having first-hand experience with many of the services reviewed on this website, I try my best to outline each site's strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately, it's my goal to give you the the most comprehensive information in plain english so that you can make an informed decision when deciding on a company to use when filing for divorce online.

If you have found the information on this site useful, I would love to hear from you. Over the time since I started this website, I have received some really cool emails from people who were equally as shocked as I was to learn they could file for divorce online. If have a story you'd like to share, send it my way!

All the best!
